WYNKOOP Dies At Colorado Avenue Home on Tuesday

Harry A. WYNKOOP age 64, died at his home, 1101 Colorado Avenue, Tuesday morning at 6 o'clock. Arrangements for funeral services are being delayed until the arrival of relatives. Mr. WYNKOOP was born at Lebanon, Ind., January 21, 1870, and lived there until 1902, when he moved to Oklahoma and settled on a farm west of Chickasha. He moved to Chickasha in 1918. Mr. WYNKOOP is survived by his widow and eight children, Mrs. J. R. SPROWLS of Pocasset, Mrs. A. W. ORAHOOD and Miss Ethel WYNKOOP of Chickasha, Clark WYNKOOP of Caney, Kan., John WYNKOOP of Allentown, Penn., Rush WYNKOOP of Cement, Donald WYNKOOP of Oklahoma City and Jim WYNKOOP of Chickasha; a sister, Mrs. Katherine GATES of Lebanon, a brother Oliver WYNKOOP of Terre Haute, Ind., nineteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

WYNKOOP Service Conducted Today

Funeral Services for Harry A. WYNKOOP, who died at his home here Tuesday morning, were to be conducted from the chapel of the Chickasha Funeral home here Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. George DAVIS, pastor of the First Christian church. Interment will occur in the Rose Hill cemetery. Pall bearers for the service were Robert ZIMMERMAN, Phil HEISLER, C. A. CHANCHOLL, C. C. LEONARD, Fred FREEMAN and Clyde BAXTER.

Harry WYNKOOP, Age 64, Dies Suddenly

Funeral services for Harry A. WYNKOOP, age 64, were held at three o'clock, Wednesday afternoon from the chapel of the Chickasha Funeral Home. Rev. George R. DAVIS, pastor of the First Christian church, had charge of the service. Burial was at Rose Hill cemetery. Mr. WYNKOOP died Tuesday morning about 6 o'clock of an attack of the heart. He had been in ill health for the past year. The doctors had given him about three months to live. On Monday evening before he died he had been feeling fine, laughing and joking, and as he started to leave the room he fell in the doorway and they thought he was dead, but he regained his strength and was thought to be better. He died early the next morning. Mr. WYNKOOP was born at Lebanon, Ind., January 21, 1870 and made his home there until 1902 when he moved to Oklahoma, west of Chickasha on a farm. He came to Chickasha in 1918. He is survived by his wife and eight children, Mrs. J. R. SPROWLS of Pocasset; Mrs. A. W. ORAHOOD and Miss Ethel, of Chickasha; and 5 sons. Clark of Caney, Kansas; John of Allentown, Penn., Rush of Cement; Donald of Oklahoma City and Jim of Chickasha; a sister, Mrs. Katherine GATES, of Lebanon; 1 brother, Oliver, of Terre Haute, Ind.; nineteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
