OKLAHOMA HISTORY SOCIETY! The Chronicles of Oklahoma is the quarterly magazine of the Oklahoma Historical Society. Four times a year the OHS produces this fine quarterly which is mailed to its members. The Chronicles of Oklahoma have been in production since 1921. A cumulative index is available, although Volume 1 of the index is out of print. There is also an annotated guide available. We offer a representative article here in the hopes that you would consider membership in the Oklahoma Historical Society, and thereby support their efforts to preserve Oklahoma History for future generations.
