Thressa Faye (Bittman) Anglin

Funeral service for Thressa Faye Anglin, 73, of Oklahoma City, were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2001 in the Sowers Memorial Chapel, Tuttle.

Thressa Faye [Bittman] Anglin was born May 20, 1928 in El Reno and died Saturday, July 21, 2001 in Norman.

She lived in Minco for seven years before moving to Chickasha. She graduated from Chickasha High School and then moved to California for three years before moving back to Oklahoma.

Mrs. Anglin was a nurse and worked for Oklahoma Hospital in Chickasha. She later worked for Hillcrest Hospital in Oklahoma City. She also worked for Dr. C.Z. Smith, Dr. Marsey and Oklahoma City and for Dr. Terry Nichels.

She and Bill Anglin were married on Dec. 31, 1947 in Texas.

Mrs. Anglin was preceded in death by her parents; and by three sisters, Olive Rogers, Helen Bittman, Georgia Yoder. Survivors include her husband, Bill Anglin of the home; two sons, Danny Anglin and fiancee, Debby, of Moore; Mike Anglin and wife, Lana, of Moore; two grandsons, Chad and Cole Anglin of Moore and several nieces and nephews.

Interment was in the Friendship Cemetery near Pocasset under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle.
