Miss Gertrude Akers, beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Akers, departed this life Jan. 23, 1919. As a daughter she was loving, kind and amiable; to know her was to love her and believe in her Christianity. The whole community felt the loss and wept with the family at her death.
Beautiful flowers covered the casket.
